About Grouper Charters
Capt. Harris will put you right where you need to be to pull up a huge Grouper! Plan for a full-day trip for all Grouper trips excursions. Depending on the time of year, we will also catch Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Porgies, Amberjack, and King Mackerel.
We will depart Capt. Anderson’s Marina at 5 a.m. to either catch or buy live bait for the day. Live fishing bait is not provided, but it is available for purchase from a live bait boat on the way out of Grand Lagoon. From novice to the experienced angler, our suggestion is to buy $10 worth of bait (per hour of your trip) for your group. Or, if you prefer, you can use the first hour or two of your morning catching live bait as part of your excursion.
We will find the best Grouper fishing location, but expect travel time to be no longer than 3 hour depending on trip lenght. You do not need to be an experienced fisherman to catch Grouper. Our experienced crew is always nearby to answer any questions. Plus, a first mate is on board to help bait hooks and remove your fish. Please note, it is customary to provide a gratuity of 10%-20% to the first mate for this service. Book your trip today!
